This great value package starts out in Kyoto and ends up in Tokyo with a 3 night stop in Nagoya for the grand prix, and 1 night in the Hakone national park along the way. From the ancient temples and shrines of Kyoto, to Tokyo, the World's most modern metropolis, this tour will bring you a lot more than just the racing.
Tuesday 5th October: Kyoto - 3 nights
You値l be met by our representative at Osaka痴 Kansai airport and helped on to a direct Limited Express train to Kyoto, the old capital city of Japan and still very much its cultural centre.
With its numerous temples and shrines, beautiful gardens, palace and castle, Kyoto is a great place to start your Japanese adventure. This fascinating city also boasts bars and eateries ranging from simple noodle stands and Japanese style pubs through to top-class traditional Kaiseki restaurants.
You値l spend three nights here and we are offering a choice of western style or Japanese style accommodation. Both our quality 3 star hotel and atmospheric traditional Japanese inn are located in the Gion area of the city - the traditional Geisha area of town. Breakfast each morning is included in the package price.
Friday 8th October: Nagoya - 3 nights
We are providing reserved seat tickets on the Shinkansen (bullet train) direct from Kyoto to Nagoya, your base for the Grand prix weekend. Your hotel is in the centre of Nagoya and breakfast is included each morning.
For Saturday痴 qualifying we are providing reserved seat train transport to and from the nearest train station to Suzuka from where a shuttle bus will take you to the circuit.
Sunday 10th October: RACE DAY
You will be met early in the morning by our representative who will accompany you to and from Suzuka Circuit. As the tension builds before the big race we値l make sure that you arrive in plenty of time and travel in comfort. Our representative will then meet you at after the race and escort you back to the hotel in Nagoya.
Monday 11th October: Hakone - 1 night
After the excitement of the Grand Prix, Hakone national park is the perfect place to head for some natural relaxation!
You値l be able to enjoy traditional hot-spring baths at your hotel as well as exploring this beautiful national park which is renowned for its views of Mt. Fuji. We are including a Hakone Transport pass which will give you unlimited use of the area痴 mountain trains, buses, and selected cable cars and lake cruises. Again breakfast is included at the hotel.
Tuesday 12th October: Tokyo - 2 nights
No trip to Japan is complete without a stay in the capital city of Tokyo. From Hakone you値l take an afternoon coach direct to Shinjuku - the modern heart of the city. Here you値l spend 2 nights in a good city hotel complete with its own bar, restaurant and karaoke room. Breakfast is included at the hotel.
Transfer to Narita airport for your homeward flight is by direct reserved seat Limited Express train.
